With SICHARGE FLEX, Siemens is offering a new generation of fast charging systems that heralds the megawatt age of e-mobility. The solution is aimed at charging infrastructure operators, logistics companies and OEMs who require maximum flexibility and future-proofing. The decentralized system consists of a central control cabinet and up to six charging dispensers that can be installed up to 300 meters away. The modular architecture allows a scalable output of 480 kW up to an impressive 1.68 MW – ideal for large fleets, buses and heavy utility vehicles.

Intelligent load management dynamically distributes the energy to the individual charging points according to real-time demand. Both the CCS and MCS charging standards are supported. Phoenix Contact supplies the appropriate charging cables for all three power levels: from the uncooled CCS charging cable to the cooled CCS charging cable and the cooled MCS charging cable for megawatt charging. The cables used are equipped with an innovative water-glycol cooling concept that guarantees high continuous currents and maximum operational safety. Ergonomic cable handles also make handling easier for users.
